Not enough storage for a Mobile Legends update

Open the device storage screen, use its recommendations to remove clearly unneeded files or unused apps, then retry the official MLBB update without clearing game storage first.

Use this when the store or device explicitly reports low storage, or when an update will not install and storage is nearly full. This page does not estimate the size of a future MLBB update.

Download size and installed storage are different

The Singapore iOS listing showed a 343.9 MB download on 8 October 2026. That is a store package figure, not a promise about the space MLBB uses after resource downloads.

For your installed footprint, open the device Storage screen and select Mobile Legends. Check its app and data totals as well as free space. An update can need room beyond the displayed download, so the store’s size alone cannot tell you whether it will fit.

Read the device's storage figure first

On Android, open Settings and Storage. On iPhone or iPad, open Settings, General and device Storage. Use the number shown by the device instead of a generic estimate from a post or video.

Google Play notes that less than 1 GB available can indicate low storage, but the exact room needed for a particular MLBB update is not established by that general guidance.

Free space without starting with game data

Remove downloads you recognize, review large photos or videos, and consider unused apps. Apple may recommend offloading an app, which keeps its documents and data, while deleting it removes related data.

On Android, clearing cache removes temporary data; clearing storage permanently deletes all app data. Those controls are not interchangeable.

Retry from the official store

Return to the official Google Play or App Store listing and retry once. If the device still reports insufficient space, free more space based on its current storage screen rather than installing an unofficial package.

If the error changes, preserve the new wording because it may no longer be a storage problem.

Stopping point

Know when the fix is complete

Stop when the official store completes the update and MLBB opens. If storage remains the stated blocker, keep the available-space figure and exact message before seeking device or store support.
