How many diamonds will you have when you need them?
Codashop's detailed Philippines description gives 80 diamonds on purchase and seven daily claims of 20. Another section on the same page says 210 total instead of 220. That inconsistency is why the calculation uses an explicit model, not an unconditional promise about every account.
Under the 80 + 20 model, pass diamonds available = 80 + 20 × successful claims. Add your existing spendable diamonds, then subtract the cost of the item you want. A negative result is the shortfall still to cover. A day on the calendar is not necessarily a successful claim: use the claim windows that actually finish before your purchase deadline.
| Claims collected | Pass diamonds available | Still needed for a 300-diamond target from zero |
|---|---|---|
| 0 | 80 | 220 |
| 1 | 100 | 200 |
| 3 | 140 | 160 |
| 5 | 180 | 120 |
| 7 | 220 | 80 |
Compare cash cost and timing, not just diamonds per peso
Divide the final pass price by the diamonds you expect to collect. For an illustrative ₱120 pass, seven claims give ₱120 ÷ 220 = ₱0.55 per diamond. Three claims give ₱120 ÷ 140 = ₱0.86. No daily claims give ₱1.50. These are example inputs, not a live merchant quote.
Suppose a direct pack costs ₱110 for 100 diamonds. The same example pass needs two successful claims to beat that pack's ₱1.10 unit rate: ₱120 ÷ 120 = ₱1.00. With one claim it costs ₱1.20 per available diamond. The pass may still fail your deadline even when its eventual unit rate is better.
A lower unit rate is not always a lower bill. If you need only 30 more diamonds, compare the smallest eligible packs covering 30 before buying a whole pass. If your current balance already covers the target, the lowest new cash cost is zero.
Daily reset, missed claims and late sign-in
Codashop's guide updated in March 2024 describes a 00:00 server-time reset and 24-hour claim windows. Your phone's midnight may not be the game's reset. Use the countdown shown on the current pass screen; check whether today's claim is still available before counting it.
Do not assume missed rewards arrive automatically. Inspect the current late sign-in or recovery rules and any required item before treating an old claim as recoverable. For budgeting, subtract a missed claim until recovery is confirmed in your balance.
In the 80 + 20 example, missing two claims without recovery reduces the total from 220 to 180. If the target is time-limited, a reward recovered after the deadline cannot fund that target.
Check stacking, renewal and the regional pass before paying
Buying two passes does not by itself prove that daily rewards double. Check whether the current offer extends duration or increases daily claims. Count multiple immediate bonuses only when the purchase terms confirm them; count daily rewards using the schedule the game actually displays.
For three complete passes on the same 220-diamond model, the eventual total is 3 × 220 = 660; for five it is 5 × 220 = 1,100. Those totals require every included claim. They do not mean you receive 660 or 1,100 immediately, or that buying several passes multiplies each day’s reward. Use the stacking schedule shown by your account.
The older Codashop guide describes a level-5 requirement, a purchase limit based on remaining duration below 70 days, and separate recurring and one-week purchase choices. Treat these as checks to make on the current screen, not a guarantee that every regional offer still uses the same limits.
SEAGM lists a separate MY/SG pass choice and excludes United States users from its linked pass service. A listing marked global is not proof that it accepts your account. Choose the correct regional product, and inspect renewal wording before confirming.
When a Weekly Diamond Pass is the wrong choice
Skip the pass when you cannot make the required claims, need more immediate currency than it delivers, already have enough diamonds, or would buy only because an unrelated event promises a reward. The useful comparison is the extra cash needed for something you already want—not the largest advertised bundle value.
Do not count choice bundles, tickets or other items as spendable diamonds. Likewise, do not assume the full pass total counts toward an event recharge task. Reward delivery and qualifying recharge credit are different quantities.
Which option fits?
Choose the pass only if its confirmed claim schedule covers your deadline and its total new cash cost beats an eligible alternative. Otherwise use a smaller suitable pack, wait, or keep your money.
